Ashlee Simpson’s father Joe must want Ashlee and Pete to break up otherwise why in the world would he be trying to get Ashlee and Pete to star in another “Newlyweds” for MTV. I mean hello reality shows break couples up. I think that has been proven with Jessica and Nick, Carmen and Dave, Hulk and Linda, Travis and Shanna.
This is what a source had to say about the deal. “He knows that no one cared about Jessica before her reality show and he’s hoping a show for Ashlee will have the same effect.”
Oh well maybe these two will be different.

Access Hollywood is reporting that the music diva Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are engaged. The 38 year old received that gorgeous $2.5 million engagement she has been sporting from the 27 year old.
When Nick was asked what he likes best about Mariah he said, “Everything”
Well I guess congrats are in order. I will admit this is an odd couple. I wonder if it really is true or if it is some joke they are playing on the media. What do you think?

We all know the scandal of Miley’s Vanity Fair photo. While it seems that other celebrities have spoken out about it and this is what they had to say.
Heidi Montag-“I think she’s a young girl in Hollywood, and she’s just having fun… “[She]’s exploring herself.”
Spencer Pratt- “I didn’t think it was that bad. Supposedly, she’s wearing a top underneath. It’s artistic.”
Lauren Conrad-“I found it a bit silly. I thought she looked beautiful in the pictures. I didn’t find it that inappropriate.”
Rosie O’Donnell- “Leave Miley Cyrus alone… Disney [is] making her apologize. Ay yi yi.”
Tyra Banks- “She is a 15-year-old, and I just wish everybody would leave her alone!”
So do you agree with any of them? I personally think its no big deal. I mean she exposed her back. Other popstars have done worse. But I understand why some parents might have a problem with it because their 7 year old might look up to her as a role model.

Who really knows for sure but that is what Star Magazine is reporting. Star claims that Katie has spent 3 days at Gold Base the Scientology compound in Hemet, CA. Some unnaded source claims, she went through serious tests and purification sessions.
This source also told Star that, ” “various tests, confession sessions, tons of reading and physically challenging purification processes. Tom insists that auditing and purification practices are incredibly beneficial to Scientologists at all levels.” Apprently one of this so called sessions last 36 hours with little sleep and food.
Maybe that explains why Katie looks tried and worn out all the time.

The annoying Spencer Pratt has once again brought up the whole Lauren Conrad and Jason Wahler sex tape thing again.
Jason has spoken out regarding Spencer’s claims on national television that there is a sex tape. This is what Jason had to say, “I do not have a sex tape of Lauren Conrad and one does not exist,” . “Spencer Pratt is lying again to get attention. Lauren is my friend and it is insulting to her to suggest this.”
Spencer declared Tuesday on The Tyra Banks show “I know for 100 percent fact it did exist - 1,000 percent!”
Of course Heidi had to chime in on the matter as well and said that the video is “Not a rumor. From what I have heard from confirmed sources… her ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler was going around trying to sell it.
Here’s the kicker Tyra asked Heidi if she had seen the tape. “Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore… but from what I’ve heard… I am not really allowed to elaborate.”
Doesn’t sound too convincing to me.

Julia Roberts is admitting that she doesn’t wear deodorant and relies on old fashion saop and water to stay fresh and clean.
Julia told Oprah,
“I don’t actually use deodorant. I don’t like to share that with a lot of people, but it’s just never been my thing.”
I’m sorry I don’t know how anyone can’t wear deodorant. I know I certainly couldn’t get away with not wearing it.

People Magazine is claiming that Benji Madden has written and recored a love song for Paris Hilton.
This is what Paris had to say,
“He actually wrote me a beautiful song, and actually recorded it in the studio. He surprised me with it. It’s called, ‘Shine Your Light.’ It’s this really beautiful love song about me. It was the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me.”
“He’s my best friend. He’s just different from any guy that I’ve ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he’d be there for me, no matter what.”

Jennifer Lopez’s manger is trying to set the recored straight about her TLC reality show.
“The recent show Jennifer Lopez plans to produce for TLC is not a reality show. It’s a show that will track the creation, production and eventual launch of a new fragrance. Jennifer will appear in a creative, entrepreneurial capacity and will absolutely not feature her children and family life.”

Yesterday I wrote that Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff had split. Well it seems that might not be true now.
Karina told UsWeekly, “You know, everybody goes through ups and downs in their relationship That’s kind of a given, and it’s normal. But Mario and I are going strong. We are totally fine - and I’m not moving out! You guys will be the first to know if I’m moving out.”
Oh well only time will tell I guess.
