Batman Star Arrested
Surprisingly enough it is being reported that Batman Star Christian Bale was arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister. London’s Daily Telegraph is reporting that Bale was held for more than four hours, and he was released. He is scheduled to return to the station in September pending further inquiries.
This supposed incident happened at a West London Hotel Sunday. Bale’s mother and sister went to the police on Monday.
However, a police spokesperson would not confirm that it was indeed Christian Bale. This is what they had to say:
“A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He remains in custody.”
Chirstain Bale’s rep released this statement to People:
“Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.”
