Miley Cyrus appears on the latest cover of Glamour Magazine and Miley tells the folks at Glamour, “I won’t end up like Britney or Lindsay.” All I have to say is you better not jinx yourself. The second something remotely similar happens or some crazy move on her part that quote will come back to haunt her. Although Miley has had her fair share of scandals here lately. The main reason Miley says she won’t end up like Britney or Lindsay is because she doesn’t want to disappoint her parents and she doesn’t want her younger siblings to be made fun of at school.
“The last thing I ever want to do is disappoint my parents,” she tells May’s Glamour. “My mom’s dad died when she was 18, and if something ever happened to one of my parents, I’d want them to go knowing I made them proud. I think it’s selfish to go out partying all the time, especially if you have little ones [in your family]. I have a 9-year-old sister, and I don’t want her to go to school and have people make fun of her for it.”
The peer pressure can be hard to avoid.”At one of the very first awards shows I ever did, there was a bottle of vodka in my gift bag,” she says. “No one cared that they were giving this to a 12-year-old.”
I guess the one solid thing Miley has going for her is that she is really close to her parents and they mean the world to her.
